Great craft beer,another great visit.
Bierlager的点评
点评：Bierlager is a great bar/ bottle shop I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to Cologne.
I love the look of this place ,interior is superb, two roomed ,a cool looking serving bar, shelves bulging with take away beers in bottles and cans and fridges packed with iced cold craft beers ,decor and furnishings are lovely and there's plenty of seating options, it's just a great beer destination.
We had a study of their bottled range of beers ,in the end my twin brother went for a beer from Ratsherrn Brauerei while I opted for a pale ale from Brłö Brauerei, served chilled ,we grabbed a table in the back room and enjoyed our beers.
A big fan of this beer ,been to the tap room of Brłö Brauerei many times on many holidays to Berlin so I'm familiar with their great beer range and their pale ale is a favourite of mine, a well balanced, hoppy pale ale, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish to it I enjoy ,its just a gorgeous beer style ,my brother also gave a big thumbs up his beer,its hardly surprising that this bottle shop/ bar is so popular with beers served in this good a condition.
We both really enjoyed the beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Bierlager we had a great time.
Bierlager is easy to locate along Bonnerstraße.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Thursday, 4pm till 9.30pm.
Friday, midday till 11pm.
Saturday, 11am till 11pm.
Sunday, closed.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
