Pirate's Cove Zip Line and Water Park的点评
点评：We had a shore excursion to this beach from our cruise ship - food, drink, umbrellas and chairs included. Our bus driver, Mr Moss, was great. He opened the bus early so we could get out of the wind. He was entertaining and informative setting the stage for a fun trip.
Pirates Cove was a beautiful spot and would have been great on a beautiful day. Unfortunately for us, there were steady 16 mph winds with greater gusts. The zip lines were closed, you couldn’t swim, and you couldn’t open your beach umbrella. Blowing sand acted like a exfoliant. Despite that, we had a great time, helped by our having grabbed jackets as we headed out.
We found a sheltered spot between two buildings that blocked most of the wind. All the staff we met were welcoming and helpful. I was surprised to see pigs and they were adorable; they also seemed taken care of. Uneaten food wasn’t thrown out but was put into a tray for the pigs.
We got Bahamas Mamas to drink; they were delicious. Lunch was provided. They had pre-packaged Caesar salad and cake - both good. There were multiple cafeteria-style choices dished to order. We all got the rice with peas and fish fingers. The fish was outstanding.
Bathrooms were clean and frequently cleaned. We did walk the beach a little and tried out the giant swings. I’d definitely go again and hope for better weather!
