Our zoo day with our grandchildren

点评：We took our grandchildren 10 and 7 years, to the zoo. They found the animals very cute. There were a few none of us had ever heard of. I found many of the animal enclosures to be on the small side for the type of animals in them. The animals seemed to be well feed and the enclosures reasonably clean. The play area was geared to children younger than ours. The picnic area could use some attention. The public restrooms were clean and very useable.
We found the ticket prices ok a little on the steep side for seniors to afford .
We only had contact with 2 staff members the admission lady was polite and cheerful and the 1 staff member we asked a question of in the zoo area could not answer our question.
On Tuesday September 1/26 we were there it got way busier after lunch which due to the heat got uncomfortable.
All in all we had a good day we were there for about 4 hours only because of the exhausting heat. Thank you for your efforts.
