点评：We were a group of three – two adults and one child (13 years old) – and had booked a self-guided tour. The welcome was very friendly, they took a lot of time with us, and the horse shop is also great.
We were told that all the ponies were very friendly, easy-going, and used to traffic and everything outdoors. Right at the beginning, however, we encountered two trucks, one coming from the front and one from behind. The drivers were very kind and even switched off their engines. Nevertheless, my pony became very frightened and only went backwards. As we did not have a whip, it was impossible to get past. I am used to difficult and spooky horses at home, but in that case you should not say the ponies are completely reliable and used to everything – especially when a child is involved.
We went back and changed the pony. However, the second one hardly wanted to move and would not even leave the property. At that point I also understood why the instructions repeatedly mentioned using a branch if the ponies did not want to walk forward. As we didn't also like to trot so long on tarmac roads, this isn't common at our place.
At that stage we had lost confidence, especially because we had a child with us, so we decided to stop the tour. The General Manager was very kind and spoke to us about a possible solution for another time, but unfortunately that does not help much now, as we travelled here especially from abroad and the tour was expensive.
