Overpriced and underwhelming
Mystic Aquarium的点评
点评：I am a donor to my local aquarium, which usually offers discounts to other aquariums around the country... but not here in Mystic. Tickets here were $40 apiece, but I am willing to support the care of animals. The weather was beautiful on this particular day, so I expected a lovely indoor/outdoor experience at the Mystic Aquarium.
Alas, maybe I was there on a wrong day. But the only outdoor exhibit displayed a few sealions. I did see one box turtle, but no other outdoor animals were on hand. So let's try the indoor exhibits. Well, they were disappointing, too. One building featured some live exhibits in glass boxes on the walls. I might have enjoyed looking at those boxes, but the room was crowded and deafeningly loud. All the other buildings functioned as gift shops and cafeterias... in other words, more ways to spend money.
