点评：Drove 3 hours to come to the drive through safari… as online paints a pretty picture of this drive through adventure and there are a lot of photos of animals being fed and petted etc. We got there only to be told unless we upgraded and paid more money to go on THEIR guided tour we could not pet nor feed the animals and were not allowed to roll our windows down etc. so we wasted a whole day of driving for nothing. I would not visit this place unless you live local and are just bored with nothing else to do. We inquired about possibly doing an animal experience but were told it would be at least 2 hours or longer to wait to do that so we just left. I went back on the website just to double check and nowhere was it listed that you could not roll down windows or feed etc. (we have been to many of these across the nation and never have had this experience.) I asked why and the girl told me it was Illinois state law that unless you were with a guide you could not pet animals…I did look this up and nowhere could I find a law prohibiting this, so seems its possibly just a tourist trap and a way for them to get you to upgrade and spend more money.
