点评：We stayed at Bilene for 7 nights…cut it shorter from 9 nights due to expectations not met. Bilene is a big lagoon and has some beauty. Bilene is quite expensive for the value you are getting…this relates to both accommodation as well as local restaurant meals. However, if you are looking for a good beach holiday, I would say this is not the place…this is more of a lake or lagoon experience and can be a great experience especially for water activities if you have your own boat or willing to pay good money to daily boat trip operators. Be very selective about which part of Bilene lagoon you stay as there are some sections that don’t smell good as they are not as clean as others. Although it would be easy to snorkel in various parts of the lagoon as the water is quite still, the snorkelling experience is not good…for that you will need to access the high seas part of Bilene which requires your own boat or using a tour operator - this is where Bilene’s real beauty and potential lies…but again….boat required. The only other way to access the high seas section is if you have a good 4x4 vehicle to drive around the lagoon to the high seas beach.
