点评:The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, New York, is a worthwhile stop for anyone interested in American history. The exhibits are engaging without feeling overwhelming, combining photographs, artifacts, audio-visual displays, and interactive elements that bring the Roosevelt era to life. I especially enjoyed the large number of personal artifacts that are on display in the museum. I also enjoyed my tour of President Roosevelts Birthplace and Home. This was my second visit to Springwood and this time the guided tour was abbreviated, and I had more time to visit the home at my on pace. During My July 2026 Visit the Rose Garden where President and Mrs. Roosevelt are resting was undergoing renovations which are expected to be completed in late summer or early fall. The gravesite was open to visitors, but you should expect ongoing construction and landscaping work. All the employees, volunteers and ranges at the site were helpful and more than will to answer any questions. Overall, I spent a little more than 4 hours touring both the Home, Grounds and Museum and would highly recommend visiting if you find yourself in this area of the Hudson Valley.
