Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House的点评
点评：Boldt Castle is unbelievable! So much history and the renovations are incredible. We traveled to the castle by way of Uncle Sam Boat Tours. We took the 2 Nations Tour which gave us a great perspective of the St. Lawrence River. Captain Bob was great, as well as the tour guide. The final stop of the tour is Boldt Castle. This is the best way to go! Once you dock at the castle and buy your ticket you can stay as long as you would like and then when you are ready to leave Heart Island, just take the next Uncle Sam Boat ferry back to the parking lot at Alexandria Bay. We took the morning tour and then spent almost all afternoon at the castle. So much to see, not only in the castle, but also the beautiful grounds and buildings on the island. An informative movie is located inside, as well as a nice gift shop. There is also a Boldt Castle app you can put on your phone that is very informative both before you get there, and then as you tour the site. A small cafe is located at the dock where you can eat a bite and also have ice cream. Be sure to buy your ticket for the Boldt Yacht House also. A ferry will carry you there and pick you up at a scheduled time. We were in awe at all the work that has been done to renovate this historic site.
