点评：Members of the Porsche Club of America had a driving tour to the top of Mount Washington. Most drivers will wait until their vehicle is parked at the top before taking in the awesome scenic views. The views of the surrounding natural beauty are quite breathtaking, though the drive up and down requires dedicated focus. We paid $36/car, cash or credit. I was our car's driver and stayed in 2d gear up and down, not going over about 23mph. There are plenty of turnouts so that you can cool off your brakes, or take in the views. There's a gift shop and restrooms at the top, and across the street at the bottom. The line for taking picture by the sign that designates the summit is likely to be long. There's plenty of parking at the top, but be very careful of other vehicles and pedestrians. Going up and down it's extremely important to stay on your side of the line. The road is narrow, and there are no guardrails. Be patient. Everyone is at different levels of comfort with this type of driving. This is definitely fun, unique and exciting, but it also requires paying strict attention to driving. You can eat at The Notch Grille at the base of the mountain. Your ears will pop multiple times. It may be cloudy at the top, but there will also be scenic views. A trail and van tours are available. The handicap will have limited access.
