旧金山儿童博物馆的点评
点评：Took my 8 & 9 year old grandkids here. Nice complex. A bit stunned by the admission—$20 for every person except <1yr—so cost seems inaccessible to a lot of folks. Good news: no screens. Love the vertical lego wall. Bad news: web site says you can make a movie but that does not exist. And art stations are pretty much paper & markers and stickers. Overall not much for a 9 year old. There are a few engaging activities but sparse overall and almost nothing but legos for an older child. Even the legos, an otherwise well-conceived area, which has cards to suggest what to build based on community-building and city services, seemed a bit adult for the target age group.
I think girls would be more engaged. Mystery box was the best artsy station for mid-age but could use a more stimulating collection of materials. And maybe less plastic. (Yes they are recycled bits).
