Sanctuary Wood Museum的点评
点评：Museum is rather expensive compared to others in the area due to what you actually get from it. The museum is poorly maintained. On entry to the ticket and cafe area, all you could smell was cigarette smoke. On entering the museum the items are not labelled and it feels chaotic. Some of the photographs are very graphic and there is no effort to shield them or warn you. My 12 year old daughter was upset to see a very graphic photo of a brave soldier with his jaw and nose completely blown off and pieces of flesh, vein etc hanging out-he was still alive-this was hanging on the wall in the first room you come to.
The trenches and craters do bring to mind what it was like, and it was interesting to see the trees that are from the time of the war, with marks from shrapnel.
Overall I would not recommend the museum, there are others in the area that are a better experience.
