Beautiful setting, mediocre experience
Cabot Links Golf Course的点评
点评：My husband and I golfed Cabot Links in September. I picked one of the first available twilight times due to cost and our travel itinerary in getting to Cape Breton. Unfortunately, our golf day was miserable. It poured rain for much of the afternoon. I was very much aware of the no cancellation policy for non-resort guests. We were trying to make the best of the situation, even met a lovely couple from Baltimore that asked to play with us. However, our caddie was late as he was coming from a round at the cliffs. We had to wait in the pouring rain while also making the other couple wait. The caddie was so rushed there was no information given about the course, boundary rules etc.; we even missed out on the cookie tradition on the first hole. He also seemed confused about carrying our bags. It was an awkward transition all the while getting soaked before we even teed off. He also was not very interactive. It was a little underwhelming to say the least. Even after we complained to management they responded with thank you for brining it to our attention. The caddie being late is completely unacceptable and at the very least we should have been refunded those fees. They double booked him. I expect top notch service and it just wasn't.
