点评:The path is excellent,
HOWEVER,
if you take part in the organised Parenzana Marathon, be prepared to stand for half an hour to an hour to get your ticket for a limited lunch at the end of the run.
Probably one of the worst organised finishes I have ever experienced.
Only two people handling the 700 plus runners, one on the computer searching for the runner, the other organising the bags. Many bags, for example for women, requiring changes to the sizes of contents - one case a woman given size 47 to 50 size sock.
Other problems included.
Insufficient rubbish bins at the finish.
Dehydrating drinks given on the run.
Manner of starting the run caused maximum numbers of people finishing at the same time, adding to the problems.
Of course, the slow processing meant not a large queue for food although this resulted in the pasta being over cooked.
Luckily there was heavy rain for 10 to 15 minutes which cooled any runners getting hot under the collar for the delay.
Regards,
Jay
