点评：Since 1912, Fenway Park has been the home field of MLB’s Boston Red Sox. It is considered to be one of the most well-known sports venues in the world and a symbol of Boston, located close to Kenmore Square. It is the oldest active ballpark in the MLB, and considered a shrine by fans. Because of its age and confined location in Boston's dense Fenway–Kenmore neighborhood, the park has many unusual features. It is the fifth-smallest among MLB ballparks by seating capacity, second-smallest by total capacity, and one of nine that cannot accommodate at least 40,000 spectators. [It can hold about 37,700]. Fenway Park has hosted the World Series eleven times. In March 2012, it’s centennial year, the park was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is being considered as a Boston Landmark, which will regulate further changes to the park.
