点评：SPAL were in Serie A six years ago and had their ground hugely renovated.
Since then they have been relegated twice and also gone bust, being allowed to phoenix from two divisions lower down, so Eccellenza/the fifth category. The fifth category in, say, England, is still a national division. But in Italy regionalisation starts sooner and there are 28 parallel fifth divisions.
So the stadium is wonderful.
But the football isn't. Although they are currently top of the league.
Two sides of the ground are closed. The home end, the Curva Ovest, is open,the place for singing and jumping around. As is the posh Tribuna.
Ticket prices for adults - Curva Ovest €10. Tribuna €16-€22.
The stadium is a 10-minute walk from the centre and a 5-minute walk from the train station. There is plenty of street parking.
Watch out that due to an anti-hooliganism law you have to show photo I.D. which matches the name on your ticket. They check EVERYONE.
