点评：We did the “a day in the life of Jack” tour and it was wonderful. The first half of the 5 hour tour was lunch at Miss Mary BoBo’s which was fantastic, excellent food. You are joined with another guide who is great company and contributed lots of stories. It was a great time. Then you walk back to the distillery and start talking about whiskey. This is where it felt a little backwards, we started at a rickhouse (barrel house). It would have been nice to start with the water (cave) and walk through the entire process of production in order. If you’re new to whiskey, it is difficult to follow along. Moving along to the tasting, the last part of the tour, the whiskey was good but maybe my expectations got the best of me. They poured 6 different whiskeys starting with Old Number 7 (classic), Gentleman Jack, Sinatra Select, Single Barrel (47%), Single Barrel Rye (47%), and Tennessee Honey (35%). All great whiskey but for the whiskey nerds who expect a more elevated pour for the price of the tour, be aware. After the tour we stopped at the new bar where I enjoyed two 1.5oz pours of the Heritage and Coy Hill, excellent price. Look forward to coming back soon!
