点评：We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting The Met. If you have a family member with a significant disability, it is important to look at The Met’s website for their programs for individuals with disabilities. Not only are entry tickets for the disabled family member discounted as is a companion ticket, they have wonderful program options that can help bring The Met to life for someone who is blind if arranged in advance. We scheduled our tour 2 weeks in advance. Our guide was OUTSTANDING allowing the art to come alive to my husband for the very first time. He was even able to touch a few of the pieces on a touch tour, so that he could understand the intricacies of the sculptures in a new and profound way…finally understanding the “why” in a way that I can simply through my ability to look and observe the sculptures. Do not hesitate to reach out to them. They were so wonderful and helpful.
