The Lapp Family is so welcoming to guests on their farm. If you're looking for a genuine farm experience, this is exactly what you want.
When you step out of your vehicle, you might be greeted by one of the family's dogs or barn cats. Checking in was a breeze while we waited for our tour guide. Tickets were purchased ahead of time, and they offer several options to suit your family, including the Amish Farm Tour, Amish Farm Fun Combo, Private Amish Farm Tour, and Piglet Cuddling Tour. They also offer hands-on cooking experiences like Amish Soup/Vegetable Canning and Fresh Bread, or an Amish Butter Churning Event.
We participated in the Private Amish Tour and truly enjoyed learning about the daily chores and life on the farm. We chose this tour over others in the area because we wanted to support the local Amish community. We will definitely be back to partake in the Amish Soup/Vegetable Canning and Fresh Bread experience! :)
