Dc Estate Winery的点评
点评：I stopped up at DC Estate Winery earlier this month and was pleasantly surprised. Beautifully designed. Located outside of South Beloit, the approach to the estate is beautiful. There is plenty of room to wander the estate as well. The tasting room is what one would expect of a winery, with a bar, sitting area, and wine browsing area. I was driving so did not do a flight, rather sampled only one of the wines. I wanted a bottle grown locally on the estate and chose a bottle of "It's Complicated" red that I was told was and found it quite approachable.
The bottle was $28. The only thing I did not like about the estate was that the workers did not seem interested in talking wine. I was the only customer when I went and like to understand where the grapes are sourced, what's the makeup of a particular bottle, etc. They simply seemed transactional, I bought the wine now I should go sort of feeling. Hopefully, the people working there actually drink wine (beyond those of the estate). Apart from that, it's a nice winery, and a welcome addition to the bleak reality of South Beloit itself.
