点评：We have been tent camping here multiple times (4 to 5) each summer for over 25 years. This place is well run and very well maintained. Clean bathrooms with hot showers in B and C loops. The A loop bathrooms tend to be not as clean as B and C loops and it takes a little time to obtain a warm shower. A loop has no hook ups and is used mostly for tent camping with a few smaller rv’s or up trailers sprinkled throughout. B and C loops have hook ups and are utilized mostly by rv’s. B and C loops cost more but we prefer to tent camp in these loops due to better facilities and nicer people. The lower lake is extremely crowded in summer by day visitors from the town of nearby Waynesboro. As a camper, these are the very crowds I am seeking to avoid. We stopped utilizing the lower lake a few years back and totally avoid that area when we camp. The camping experience depends on others fallowing the rules or basic camp etiquette. The rules tend to not be enforced thus you will have campers that are louder late at night or early morning. In my recent visit or neighbors were loud until 3am. I will add that this was in A loop that can tend to have a different clientele than B or C loops. On multiple occasions there have been individuals being very loud after quiet hours and were never addressed by the camp staff. Over the past 5 or 6 years the camping experience in Sherando has deteriorated to more like camping in a neighborhood backyard.
