点评：I booked airport transfers and 2 day-trips from UB with Mongolia Short Tours. One day trip was to
Terelj National Park while the other was to Hustai NP.
Our guide, Billy, was very good. He was knowledgeable and spoke English well. He did a great job of showing us around as well as explaining various issues in Mongolia. Our driver, Myagaa, didn’t speak English but was dependable and drives a nice Lexus. He did a great job with a lot of bad roads and challenging traffic. The trips and transfers went off without a hitch.
I liked both trips but preferred the Terelj day trip over Hustai. It provided more variety and was better suited for a day trip. The Hutsai trip would have been better as an overnight trip as it’s a lot of driving for one day.
Mongolia Short Tours appears to be part of the Amicus group of companies. The company was great to deal with in terms of developing an itinerary. Their website provides a wide variety of day trips and multi-day trips and you are free to customize your itinerary. They were very responsive during this part of the process. They were non-responsive, however, after I made the booking. I emailed them a few times with some standard questions and never received a response.
I rated them a 5 because the tours were well done and Billy and Myagaa were top notch. The company itself is probably a 4 due to inconsistent communications.
