American Dream Safari的点评
点评：Yesterday, my wife and I had the pleasure of having Tad as our tour guide. He’d taken me on a tour 13 years ago, and when booking this trip, he was one of the first people I wanted to reach out to.
He did not disappoint! He is an absolute gem, and his hospitality and knowledge of the area are top notch. His car is known by all walks of life in Memphis, and every single person we drove by, had a smile on their face. People would stop and talk to him and us, and it was just a real treat. For me, it was a way to see “authentic” Memphis. We came for Graceland and Beale Street, but we leave with memories of a city that you just don’t get in the tourist areas.
That is not to discredit the museums and halls of fame. But Tad will give you an amazing experience, just floating around in his big ol’ caddy, with his commentary. And we didn’t just listen. We’d talk a bit about our hometown (Vancouver, BC), and give him some of that history.
He’s just a great guy to talk to, he’s knowledgeable and informative, and very welcoming, and just a good guy overall.
I’m not in Memphis often, but he’s a guy I’ll be in contact with every time I come, even if it’s just to have a cup of coffee.
