点评：The second stop of our summer '25 New England vacation was the Breakers in New Port, RI. I booked the Beneath the Breakers tour, along with the regular tour. The Beneath the Breakers tour takes you to the underground tunnels adjacent to, and beneath the mansion. The Beneath tour is guided, with the regular tour being self paced with audio headset assistance. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The Beneath tour gives you a feeling for the inner workings of this marvelous mansion. It was 45-60 minutes in length.
The regular tour takes you throughout the mansion, providing an educational tour of the home. The size and grandeur of the mansion can only be appreciated with an in-person visit. We took our time, taking many photos throughout the home.
We finished off with some shopping in the Breakers gift store.
After the tour we took a stroll along the Cliff Walk since it was right outside the lawn of the Breakers. The walk is not difficult, and worth the effort.
