点评：I wouldn't trust the owner of this business. We rented his condominium unit for a month, but only stayed one night. The owner broke the lease and kept our $6,780. The house smelled like an animal shelter, which the owner attempted to mask with a candle and floor fan. I went to use the restroom, picked up the toilet seat and felt a grimy substance on my hand. The hand towel in the bathroom felt damp, as if it had been in use for a while. The more we looked, the more filthy the place was. We purchased Lysol wipes and cleaned the bottom level for at least two hours. We took photos, including one of a big black grease spot on the kitchen counter and a spoon pulled out of the drawer that had old food caked on. My wife sat on the couch after cleaning. Soon after, she started feeling bites on her ankle, that turned into red bumps that lasted for a few days.
We also noticed that the house had no working smoke detectors, and the wood-slat steps leading up the loft did not have a railing.
The owner refused to offer a remedy. He raised his voice at us. He told us that since we cleaned it, we should stay. He gave us “his word” that he’d refund money. Later, we texted him the wording of the lease that stated he needed to deliver a clean, safe, etc. dwelling and that he failed to do so. He replied: “Let me be abundantly clear. I will not be returning any of your money."
We scrambled to find an available hotel in season in South Florida, which added a significant expense, which meant we were unable to stay for a full month. My wife was able to reschedule one work gig, but lost out on the other, which couldn’t be rescheduled.
Avoid this man, his properties, and any of the businesses he runs.
