点评:Such a fun place! Great combination of historic and nostalgic. Fascinating to see early mechanical amusement machines, many handmade, some even made from toothpicks by prisoners. Learned about the origins of the industry, many early machines were brief mechanical shows. Some were brief picture shows, some risqué (by early 1900’s standards). It’s wonderful that you can play almost everything there for just a few quarters. Several money changing machines on hand to make it easy to convert your dollars to quarters
so you can keep playing.
For the nostalgic part it was fun to reconnect with pin ball machines and video games of our youth; we even got our photos taken in the Photo Booth.
The proprietor is easy to spot as he is on roller skates. I also enjoyed seeing people of all ages enjoying themselves playing games and cheering each other on; would make a great inter generational activity.
