点评:The clock is inside Strasbourg Cathedral and is close to the entrance in southeast corner. This clock dates back to 1843 and features a planetary calendar and mechanical rooster. There is an automation everyday at 12:30 pm and it is recommended to get there 15 minutes before this time to get a good spot so you can see the march of the apostles and hear the rooster. During the movement this is when the most people are in the area and some people who arrived late got a bit pushy to get a view where the column was not in the way of the clock.
The entrance to the cathedral is free but donations are accepted. They have security and will do a bag inspection before you enter but make sure you go to the right entrance because the one closest to the facade is for the tower climb and the one at the back is for the cathedral itself and is right by the clock. There is a lot to see inside the cathedral and we spent about 30 minutes inside of the cathedral itself on our first day.
