点评：We stopped by Parotte Ville Bird Sanctuary in St. Maarten and were pleasantly surprised by how magical and downright entertaining it was. The moment we walked in, it felt like we’d wandered into a tropical Disney movie — except the birds were real, and they were VERY excited to meet us.
There were so many birds, and they wasted no time flying right over to say hello. They perched on our arms, shoulders, and even our heads like we were their new best friends. I held out the little cup of food and instantly became the most popular person in the sanctuary. They walked with us, talked to us, and showed off all their colorful personalities. Parrots, parakeets, “pappiots” of every kind — it was like being surrounded by living confetti.
It’s also a fantastic place to take kids. The hands-on interaction, the bright colors, and the friendly birds make it such a fun and memorable stop for families.
We left with big smiles, great photos, and a whole new appreciation for how charming these birds can be. If you want a lighthearted, hands-on, totally delightful experience in St. Maarten, Parotte Ville is a must-do.
