点评:Weather at the park was misty and wet, but we were still able to have a great time and see a ton of animals. The natural setting of the park is beautiful, with amazing views all over the park. There is a lot of walking required, as well as steep inclines, but worth every minute. Being able to see animals roam a grassy plain was beautiful. The tram safari tour was awesome, even the basic one included with the ticket. We didn’t purchase any other safaris, but they must be incredible. We also made reservations and ate at The Watering Hole Restaurant. The food was a bit pricey for what it was. You definitely pay for the view, but again…we felt it was worth it to be able to watch Rhinos on the grasslands while eating. We visited the San Diego Zoo the next day and both agreed that we like the Zoo but prefer the Safari Park. If we only had time to do one, that is what we would choose. There might be fewer animals, but they have almost all the big must sees. It was less busy and seemed more natural vs. themed. We will definitely be back.
