点评：My sister and I flew in and out of Denver and rented a car and did a 2 1/2 week road trip in western Colorado in Northern New Mexico A few days into our trip, we left Ouray, CO and got right on this highway from our hotel on Main Street. It’s absolutely beautiful and really easy to drive in great weather conditions. My sister has huge fear of going off the edge of the road so I had to drive very slowly, especially on the curves. It would be super fun to drive at speed limit or more! We made several stops, not all of them, but there are many easy to find and easy to get off on pullovers some with signage. Some have hikes. One stop had a climb up to a Hot Springs. And we dearly loved Andrew‘s lake, a beautiful mountain lake with a hike to it from the parking lot. Have your vehicle in top shape, downshift on steep grades if possible, keep windows clean for in the car pix, fill up with fuel, etc. before starting. Gorgeous mountain scenery. Plan your stops ahead of time so you don’t miss a thing!
