Outstanding Family-Friendly Park - Hidden Gem in Brigadoon!

点评：Bells Rapids Park is an absolute treasure and one of our favorite spots to visit in the Perth hills area! Located in Brigadoon along the beautiful Avon River, this park offers something for everyone and never disappoints.
The natural rapids are the star attraction - absolutely spectacular when the river is flowing, and the sound of rushing water creates such a peaceful atmosphere. The kids love exploring the rocky areas (when it's safe to do so), and there are plenty of great spots for photography. During summer when the water is lower, it's perfect for a cooling dip.
The park itself is beautifully maintained with expansive grassy areas ideal for picnics, ball games, or just relaxing under the shade of the huge trees. The playground equipment is excellent and keeps children entertained for hours. There are also plenty of BBQ facilities and picnic tables, making it perfect for family gatherings or a casual lunch out.
We love the walking trails that wind through the bushland - easy enough for all ages but still offering that authentic Australian nature experience. Birdwatching is fantastic here too, and we've spotted so many native species.
Whether you're after a peaceful nature escape, an active family day out, or a romantic picnic spot, Bells Rapids Park delivers beautifully. It's a wonderful local park that showcases the natural beauty of the Swan Valley region. Highly recommend!
