A Truly Personal Yogyakarta Experience.

点评：I am not someone who writes reviews but after our recent trip to Yogyakarta, I genuinely felt that this one was much needed. We had Pak Ghani and Pak Eko to be our guide and driver during this trip. I wanted a company that is simple and felt very local. I found out about them through a random Google search and took the plunge.
Bookings via Whatsapp was with Pak Ghani and from the very beginning, he exceeded our expectations. I had quite a few questions and ideas before the trip and he was incredibly patient, responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. He was also very flexible with our itinerary, which made the whole experience feel much more personal rather than simply following a fixed tour schedule.
What really stood out was how he went above and beyond to make sure we experienced Yogyakarta properly. He brought us to try delicious local food, get local products, beautiful photography spots and even helped us find some amazing locations for our drone shots. He understood that we are into photography and videography and actually took that into consideration when suggesting places to visit. Some of the places and food experiences ended up being among the highlights of our trip. He didn't rush any of the tours and even ended one of the day quite late to let us try a local dessert called Tiwul. That was a nice touch.
Our driver, Pak Eko, was also fantastic. Safe, punctual, friendly and always willing to accommodate our requests. It's a bonus that he was funny too. Despite having a fairly packed itinerary, everything felt relaxed because they were so easy to communicate with and willing to adjust things whenever needed.
I specifically chose to support a local company for this trip and honestly, I am so glad I made that decision. We received such a personal level of service that I don’t think we would have gotten from a standard packaged tour.
To our guide Pak Ghani and driver Pak Eko, kami sangat berterima kasih for making our Yogyakarta trip even more memorable than we expected. You didn’t just take us from one destination to another but also helped us discover the food, scenery and little experiences that made the trip special.
If anyone reading this is considering to book a local tour in Yogyakarta or other parts of Indonesia (they do too), I would absolutely recommend them. They are truly deserving of 5 stars.
