Browsholme Hall, Gardens & Cart Shed Café的点评
点评：Traveled from just outside Balckpool to visit. Upon arrival made our way to the cafe and booked for the tour which was a very reasonable £12.50, then made it our duty to sample a delicious piece of carrot cake and a cup of tea.
Sitting outside the main house opsite the lawn on a bench for a while alllowed us nice views of the well kept main lawn and the extended gardens to the distance.
The tour itself took a little over an hour, given by a knowledgeable friendly lady. Given that this is an old house, it's still very much a family home, evidence of which is dotted about here and there.
Unlike most statley homes of this nature you are allowed to sit on much of the furniture whilst the guide gives their talk, which somehow makes the rooms more welcoming.
What we saw of the gardens were well tended and seeing the family hard at work up ladders prunning and being charmed by the current owner was the icing on the visit.
It's not a huge place as others are and all the more intitmate for that reason. As such I would recomend a visit without any hessitation
