I Got to see Dolphins!
Indianapolis Zoo的点评
点评：I love visiting zoos, and when I found out this one has dolphins, I had to go. I came with my Mom on a thursday, and spent about 3 and a half hours here. We focused on the animal exhibits since we knew we didn't have enough time to see and do everything before the zoo closed for the day. We saw most of the animal exhibits that were open in this time, except for the Forest area and the Flights of Fancy area. We, also, didn't get to see the dolphin show (we arrived too late), nor ride the train.
My disappointments for this zoo were 1) the building with the sharks and penguins was blocked off, so we couldn't see those animals, 2) the walrus exhibit was closed (this was the other animal I was really looking forward to seeing, and 3) I didn't think the zoo was landscaped very well.
On the plus side, we saw the zoo in the pouring rain, and there were still a lot of animals to see. I understand that some animals can't be outside in the rain, but at this zoo, you could see some of them in their indoor habitat. The zoo posted signs on the outdoor habits to let you know you that animal had an indoor habitat you could see them in. I, also, thought it was cool that you are not separated by a fence to see the kangaroos. You are actually in their habitat when you see them.
All the employees we encountered were very nice, and helpful. The zoo, also, honored my mother's zoo membership from the St. Louis Zoo by giving up a couple dollars off each of our tickets. If you have trouble walking, the zoo does have scooters available to rent. My mother rented one, and it allowed her to go everywhere, including the indoor exhibits.

我们遇到的所有工作人员都非常友善且乐于助人。此外，动物园还认可了我母亲在圣路易斯动物园的会员资格。我们通过每张门票减免几美元的方式来捐助路易斯动物园。如果您行走不便，动物园也提供代步车出租服务。我的母亲就租了一辆，这让她能够去到任何地方，包括室内展览区。
