A really special tour with so much heart

点评：We were so lucky to have Andrey and Alex as our guides on our first trip to Kazakhstan in early Spring. Alex who was our city guide felt like a friend immediately. He’s warm, friendly, funny, caring, and has great food recommendations. Andrey, who took us to the countryside, was always able to find a path away from the crowds and the well-trodden paths, even in the more popular spots, to make our experience feel so special. He was also very caring and attentive to our needs - helping my aunt up and down the trails, relieving us of unnecessary loads, and going above and beyond by setting up surprise “pop up cafes” with fresh tea and chocolate at scenic spots. “Picnic Team” really sums up the cozy vibe that we felt throughout the tour. He is also an excellent photographer equipped with a great camera and a drone, so he took amazing photos for us even when that required him to hike up an extra sand dune or another hill, so that he could get a good angle. He is also passionate about preserving the beauty of the country and quietly picks up trash along hiking routes. It was extremely satisfying to be with a guide who is even more allergic to touristy and crowded places than we are, and who is ethical and takes good care of the environment. We would wholeheartedly recommend this special tour company and are already thinking about what other trips we can do with them.
