点评:My daughter and I came here as part of a homeschool trip we did. We enjoyed it and thought it was informative. We were the only ones there for the time we went so we got a private performance which was awkward for my social anxiety but they still did a good job. Someone comes out in old timey dress and talks for about 10 minutes setting the scene and then two people reenact a courtroom scene from the witch trials and then you get a tour of the reconstructed dungeon (original was in Danvers I believe and demolished in the 1950s). As other people have mentioned one performer was wearing a face mask so their words were muffled so that was frustrating. I certainly dont fault someone who deals with the public all day for wanting to protect themselves but there were exactly 4 people in the giant room and 2 of us were like 10-15 feet away. The dungeon was interesting though everything is definitely old and dusty. It could use a refresh but also it's old subject matter from Puritan times so you cant exactly make it flashy. Some of the lights were blown down there so it was hard to see a couple of the displays. Overall it served it's purpose as being an educational site for us.
