点评：We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Quinta do Vale Meão.
Although we arrived about half an hour late, we were warmly welcomed by Maria, who couldn’t have been more kind, understanding, and professional. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease, and any worry about being late disappeared instantly.
Maria gave us a truly personal, one-to-one tour of the estate, showing us the vineyards, olive trees, and sharing her knowledge of the farm with great passion. It didn’t feel like a typical group tour at all—it was intimate, relaxed, and very special.
The wine tasting was exceptional. We had the chance to try some outstanding wines and a fantastic Port, including a newly released one, which made the experience even more memorable.
One of the highlights was when Maria took us up to the chapel at the top of the estate. The views were absolutely breathtaking—truly some of the most beautiful we’ve seen. You can clearly see how well cared for the property is, and it has a very genuine, family-oriented feel.
To top it all off, at the end of the visit, Maria picked some fresh oranges for us. They were honestly some of the most delicious oranges we’ve ever tasted—such a thoughtful and personal touch that perfectly reflects the hospitality of this place.
This was not just a visit—it was an experience. We felt incredibly well looked after (maybe even too well looked after!).
I highly recommend Quinta do Vale Meão to anyone visiting the Douro Valley. It is truly worth every second.
