点评：Absolutely LOVED it.
Staying in this hotel is like a fantasy. You stay inside a real castle at the top of a hill overlooking the valleys across all sides, first built in the year 905, and decorated in the most elegant-yet-rustic style possible, with all the amenities. There is a hamlet at the foot of it, cute and pretty much untouched by time.
The hotel has only 15 rooms and a Michelin chef. Our room was enormous. The decor is all aligned with it being a medieval castle (with electricity and running water and air conditioning, of course). The staff to guest ratio seems 1:1 and the service is totally outstanding. It has two swimming pools, surrounded by large gardens.
Interestingly, there is very little signage inside the castle so it really feels very authentic… and a bit of an adventure every moment in the hotel.
Good thing there is a Michelin-level chef, because we ate here each night… driving up at night would be my idea of a nightmare.
