Great Trip with Toddler
多莱坞公园的点评
点评：We visited Dollywood for a weekday in late May. This was the first time we have taken our toddler who is 18 months old to a theme park. We could not have chosen a better park to start with. We arrived as the park opened. My wife had bought our tickets ahead of time online so we were able to walk straight to the gate and head in. The park opens in phases. Most of the rides did not open for another 30 min after gate opened. That allowed us to pick a couple of rides to position ourselves for short waits. My wife and I alternated riding some roller coasters. I rode several coasters including Lighting Rod and Wild Eagle. They were top notch thrill rides.
My daughter was able ride many different rides like Lemon Twist, the Flying Elephants, Rockin’ Roadway and Treetop Tower. We learned she loves spinning rides much to my chagrin! I’m a roller coaster guy myself so we had to take turns doing multiple times on some of the rides. They also have places for kids to play both inside and outside scattered around the park.
We enjoyed the food as well. The bbq was excellent and not badly priced. The cinnamon bread is a must! We snacked on it at the park and back at the hotel.
There is so much to do we could have spent several days there. Even with just one day, we felt we had a great time and got a high value out of our visit. It is some family time and memories we will always cherish.
