Must-Do When Visiting Atlanta
亚特兰大历史中心的点评
点评：Visited on April 12th for the Freedom Plane National Tour, and it was so much better than I was expecting. Parking is free and first-come-first-serve, but we were dropped off through a house car available from our hotel. There is also two dining options on property, Souper Jenny and The Swan Coach House Restaurant. We didn't eat at either, but they both looked good and had great prices.
While the actual exhibition wasn't incredible, it was still cool to see such old documents that forged the path for this country. The staff working the exhibition were also all very friendly and knowledgable. The real star of the show was everything else available here. During the tour admission was free to the entire history center, but I'd absolutely pay the $30 ticket price and will definitely come back.
Every exhibit was full of history and very detailed, perfect for young and old people alike. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with so much greenery, both natural and manicured, and it's hard to believe you're in such a major city. There's so many different gardens, trails, and paths to wander through. They have an old farmstead with live sheep and chickens, which was fun to watch. The Swan House was gorgeous, and every room was stunning. It's a must do when visiting. There's also a picturesque cabin on the edge of the property past the Swan House. Every person we met here seemed so happy to be working here and so eager to teach, which was really nice to see.
Overall my family of four absolutely loved it and was blown away by the Atlanta History Center. It's a must-do when visiting Atlanta, and everyone should see if they can spend a day here when visiting the city. Will 100% be back next time we're in Atlanta.
