Wonderful 4-Day Journey from Fes to Merzouga

点评：Merzouga Desert Tour from Fes In 4 days our entire journey was unforgettable. On the first day out of Fes, I started my journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Ifrane was called the "Switzerland of Morocco," where I felt as if I had moved to another country. Then in the cedar forest of Ajr, Barbary macaque monkeys were seen, which gave joy like children. When we reached Merzouga in the evening to see the green palm groves and ancient kasbahs of the Ziz Valley, it was a wonderful feeling to ride a camel through the golden dunes at sunset. Spending the night under the stars listening to music again and again in the desert camp at night is really like a dream.
The next morning, I watched the sunrise, then talked to the nomad family and learned about their lives. It was heartwarming to hear the singing of Ganwa musicians in Khamlia village. On the third and fourth days, on the way back, I enjoyed Risani Market, Erfoud's Fossil Workshop and again the nature of the Atlas. Both the guide and the driver were very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the history and culture of each place beautifully. Being a private tour, we took our own time and there was no rush. Accommodations and food were good. This tour is perfect for those who want to experience the real beauty of Morocco and the Sahara. We want to come back with our family!
