点评：Cedar Breaks National Monument is a fantastic, off the beaten path hidden gem that you will encounter if you take the scenic route driving up toward Bryce Canyon from the Zion or St. George area. It serves as the perfect, breathtaking preview of the dramatic amphitheater rock formations you are about to experience later in the trip.
While the main overlook and visitor area are relatively compact, the vistas it offers are absolutely stunning. A standout feature for us was the indoor observation space; they have a room designed with a large viewing window that perfectly frames an unobstructed view of the canyon below. Taking a photo from inside the room makes the window look literally like a beautifully framed landscape painting, except it is a real, living view. Another thing to keep in mind is the elevation, sitting at over 10,000 feet, the air here feels incredibly crisp, fresh, and noticeably colder than the surrounding regions, so bringing a light jacket is highly recommended. It is a wonderful, refreshing spot for a quick, high impact visit during your road trip.
