200 million year old forest, up close and personal

点评：We went during a weekday so there were less people but it can get quite crowded at certain places. The boardwalk only allows 2 people to stand abreast at any one time. So if there are people hogging the trail, it can cause a jam as no one can move up or down the trail.
The trees and mosses are really lovely and unique. The watchtower is a rather vertigo inducing climb but hold on to the railings - you'll be fine. The views from the watchtower are spectacular and well worth the climb.
As we reached there around 10am, the mist had lifted. The weather was pleasant, like outdoor airconditioning and we could walk around in shortsleeves - but then, we were there during the dry season.
During rainy weather, it can get cold, wet and slippery. So check the weather forecast.
This is a once in a lifetime experience.
