点评:Grand Central Terminal is a very old historic place as well as being a major connection point for the Metro-North Railroad and the New York City subway system and for Midtown Manhattan in general. It's a unique historic landmark with grand architecture that holds up more than a century later and in spite of the more modern look it has nowadays it still feels remarkably old-fashioned and rustic in certain spots.
The lower level has been renovated repeatedly over time and has a much more polished and modern look to it, it stands out more for the fancy restaurants and places to eat and it also appears to be the main arrival point nowadays for most incoming Metro-North trains.
The Long Island Railroad Concourse is a subject all its own and the first time I was there I almost felt like I was in another world. This place is really majestic and overwhelming and it really has to be seen to be fully experienced and appreciated.
I recommend everybody visit Grand Central Terminal for its historic significance and iconic status and that people make a special trip down to the lower level Long Island Railroad Concourse which for me is the most outstanding feature of Grand Central Terminal nowadays.
