Rediscovering the Beauty of Grand Central Terminal: A Local's Reflection

点评：As a local, it's easy to overlook the architectural details and beauty of Grand Central Terminal.
When your train stops here on a regular basis, the terminal is just a pit stop in your day to day activities.
Yet, when I pause to take it all in, I realize it far surpasses any train station I've experienced, even those in Europe.
The moment you step inside, the breathtaking Beaux-Arts architecture captivates you, just don't stand still in the middle of it all or you'll get knocked down by all the commuters rushing past.
The grand corridors, soaring ceilings adorned with a beautiful celestial dome, which I had never noticed before until I looked up, there are so many details that are a feast for the eyes.
Grand Central isn’t just a transit hub; it's a vibrant representation of New York City’s spirit.
Strong, powerful, always moving forward.
I saw groups of tourists were either taking photos of the terminal or with one another.
Since its the holidays, there's a fair in Vanderbilt Hall with over a dozen vendors selling jewelry, hand bags, arts and crafts, soap and perfume.
There were plenty of people browsing, but there was nothing special about these stalls I haven't seen before in Union Square and Bryant Park.
It’s so easy to overlook the beauty we have right here at home, but I've recently found a deeper appreciation for the famous sites in my hometown.
Take a few minutes to check out the whispering gallery, where you can share secrets with a friend, which I learned about from a novel.
