点评:Good trip. We arrived at approximately 9 am and made our way towards the entrance of the museum. After paying the admission fee we began to explore the site. The ground floor of the museum was mostly geared towards children and contained various hands on science exhibits, replicas of dinosaurs and even had several animals out for display. We briefly viewed this section of the museum and then headed upstairs. The second floor of the museum contained various random artifacts, many of which were not related to Present Mckinley. There was only a small room in the museum that was actually dedicated to William Mckinley. There were several informational plaques in this room, detailing his early life and accomplishments. The room also contained several animated wax figures of Mckinley and his wife. The rest of the floor consisted of a reconstructed town from the 1800’s. I do wish more of the museum was dedicated towards the former President and his achievements. After viewing the museum we walked over to the memorial, which was located right next to the museum. We walked up a steep staircase and into the memorial, where we were able to view the caskets of the former President and his wife.
Tip: I recommend spending 2.5 hours here if you truly want to see everything.
