点评：We recently visited Ethina Bhuja trek in Sakleshpur, and the experience was extremely disappointing. They charge ₹300 per person for entry and ₹60 for parking, yet the basic maintenance of the trail is completely neglected.
The trekking path is blocked by fallen trees at multiple places, and it’s very clear that these have been lying there for a long time without any attempt to clear them. The forest guards and authorities are very strict when it comes to checking tickets, but they take no responsibility for ensuring a safe and walkable trail.
There are also plenty of leeches, so do not attempt this trek without proper precautions. Due to the poorly maintained path, we had to return halfway without completing the trek.
People travel from far distances to experience this place, and charging money without providing even minimum required facilities is unacceptable. If the responsible authorities cannot take basic initiative to maintain the route, then shame on you. Let people know — if needed, we ourselves will clear the path, because visitors deserve at least a safe and walkable trail after paying for it
