The museum bit was good but make sure you leave time for the cafe too

点评：Went to visit this centre as we were staying nearby. Popped into the cafe before we went round the centre itself and it was fab. Great cakes and the coffee was gorgeous - really smooth and tasty.
The centre itself is small but easy to navigate. It tells the stories - as you would expect - of the locality, the industries, the people and the way of life there. It took about 60 mins to wander about, reading the exhibit signs etc and was worth the entrance fee.
We then decided to go back to the cafe for lunch before we headed off and that was great again. Their home made cullen skink was divine - realy tasty with lots of fish and veggies in there. Whilst we were having lunch, some locals came in and tried to order some cullen skink but they had run out so be aware and get in there early. Would definitely recommend and would visit the centre again if back in the area.
