点评：We are a late 60's couple that did a 7 night e-bike cycle trip through the Yorkshire Dales in early September 2025. All arranged expertly by Charles Oxtoby with Yorkshire Velo Tours. The 7 days included pre and post cycle nights in Ilkley, with cycle nights in Malham, Dent, 2 in Arkengarthdale (Reeth) and Grassington. We've done quite a few e-bike trips like this and have to say this will give you good work out even on e-bikes. Fair amount of long hills, most on relatively quiet roads but there was some traffic nonetheless. 2 days of heavy rain. All lodgings and meals were great. But it's the scenery and the the folks you come across that make this trip. Outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the CB Inn/Arkengarthdale for the staff, beer and daily meal specials.
Shout out to Vern Overton for his Hailbike Trekking 4 e-bikes. He is the only provider in area that delivers and picks up the bikes. We really appreciated the fact he put on mirrors which we think are essential for our kind of cycling.
We have no hesitation in recommending both Yorkshire Velo Tours and Vern Overton Cycling.
Shout out to Vern Overton for his Hailbike Trekking 4 e-bikes. He is the only provider in area that delivers and picks up the bikes. We really appreciated the fact he put on mirrors which we think are essential for our kind of cycling.
