点评：We travelled from Kirkcaldy specifically to visit the zoo, paying just under £30 for three adults and one child in a buggy. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and, in our opinion, nowhere near what you would reasonably expect for the price of admission.
During our visit, we saw approximately three animals. One of these was a rat, which actually ran out from the monkey enclosure and underneath our pram. We spent the majority of our visit walking around what appeared to be empty enclosures rather than having the experience we had paid for.
The overall condition of the zoo was shocking. Many of the enclosures appeared extremely overgrown and run down, and the animals we did see did not appear to be in an environment that felt engaging or enjoyable to visitors. The whole place gave the impression that it was severely neglected and this was not due to a recent fire. To be completely honest, we found it difficult to understand how the attraction could be described as a zoo in its current state. It needs closed until seriously done up instead of charging people to take the 20 steps that it entails.
We also raised our concerns with a member of staff while we were there. Unfortunately, their response made the experience even more frustrating. They appeared completely unfazed and unbothered by our complaint and gave us the impression that they simply wanted their shift to be over. There was no sense that our concerns were being taken seriously or that anyone was interested in addressing what we had experienced and the exact responce was "oh, ok" no sorry, no offer of refund, no professionalism. They said "there's birds" which was closed.
The price is particularly difficult to justify given how little there was to see or do. Paying almost £30 for 3 people only to walk around empty, overgrown enclosures and see approximately three animals feels extremely overpriced. We travelled from Kirkcaldy, paid for admission, spent what little time there was walking around the site, and then made the entire journey home in a total of just 49 minutes. That says a lot about how little there was available to actually see and do.
We genuinely feel that the experience was extremely poor and that the admission price does not reflect what is currently being offered. Had we known the condition of the zoo and how little there would be to see, we would never have paid to visit.

我们在现场也向一名工作人员表达了担忧。遗憾的是，他们的回应让我们的体验更加糟糕。他们似乎全然不在意我们的投诉，给人的印象就是只盼着轮班时间能快点结束罢了。完全感觉不到我们的顾虑被认真对待，也感觉不到有人愿意解决我们所遭遇的问题。对方的回应仅仅是“哦，好吧”——既没有道歉，也没有提供退款，毫无专业素养可言。他们还说“那里有鸟”，可那个区域其实已经关闭了。
考虑到那里几乎没什么可看或可参与的项目，这个价格实在让人难以接受。花近30英镑带三个人进去，结果只看到一片荒草丛生的空地以及寥寥几只动物，这种定价简直贵得离谱。我们从柯克卡迪出发，支付了门票费用，只在园区里逛了一小会儿，随后仅用了49分钟便全程返回家中。这一事实充分说明了实际上可看可玩的内容少得可怜。
